Poe Tyler
President
Poe is a distinguished expert in the field of wastewater with an impressive track record spanning over 20 years. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, including the design, construction, start-up, and operation of cutting-edge facilities that focus on water, wastewater, renewable energy, and bio-solids treatment.
Poe's educational background is equally impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He further honed his skills by obtaining a Masters of Engineering in Biological and Environmental Engineering from the same prestigious institution.
Early in his career, Poe worked with Synagro in the Engineering and Facilities Development group, where he tackled design-build contracts and led projects from the 60% design phase through start-up and ongoing operations. This experience laid a strong foundation for his future work in the wastewater field.
Poe is also a licensed Wastewater Treatment Operator in the state of Colorado, adding to his already impressive set of credentials. For the past 17 years, Poe has been an integral member of the team at WSI, where he continues to pursue excellence in design, manufacturing, and execution of challenging wastewater treatment projects.
Poe's expertise, education, and practical experience make him a valuable asset to any wastewater project. His commitment to delivering exceptional results is a testament to his passion and dedication to the field.
Sean Fields
Vice President of Sales
With over 15 years of progressive experience in wastewater technology, Sean is a highly experienced expert in the field. His expertise lies in designing and implementing custom wastewater processing solutions for global clients, and he has a proven track record of success in delivering these solutions on time and under budget while exceeding client expectations. As a respected and influential leader, he is able to motivate and guide team members to achieve consistently high levels of performance.
In his current role as Vice President of Sales at WSI International, Sean has led business development, marketing, and overall sales initiatives, resulting in significant year-over-year revenue growth. His digital marketing and social media outreach efforts have expanded the company's brand reach and increased sales, and he has successfully executed product marketing campaigns, including website design, document layout, media design, SEO, advertising, and trade show rollouts.
Prior to his current role, Sean worked as a Senior Design Engineer at WSI International, providing extensive field expertise to municipal, industrial, and oil and gas startups. In this role, he designed custom systems and infrastructure to meet clients' unique functional needs, successfully designing over 56 operational wastewater facilities for a range of global clients. He managed multiple engineering and CAD teams to tackle complex mechanical and process design challenges, and he developed and implemented IT infrastructure improvements that led to significant productivity gains and cost savings.
Ben Garcia
Vice President of Engineering
Benjamin is an accomplished professional with more than 18 years of experience in the equipment manufacturing field. His unwavering commitment to developing quality equipment that is user-friendly has earned him a reputation as a highly respected engineer. Benjamin's philosophy is rooted in his extensive experience working on projects from the initial concept development stage to the final operation phase.
A distinguished alumnus of the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University, Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He launched his career by manufacturing specialty commercial products, where he honed his skills in analyzing fabrication costs, developing equipment standards, and reviewing customer specifications. His exceptional work ethic and leadership skills have been instrumental in his rise at WSI, where he began as a design engineer and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Benjamin finds great joy in spending quality time with his young family. He cherishes the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Colorado Front Range through activities like hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures.
Benjamin's deep-rooted passion for equipment manufacturing, coupled with his extensive experience and exceptional educational background, make him a valuable asset to any project. Randy Leander
Senior Project Manager
Randy is a seasoned professional with more than 35 years of experience in the manufacturing and wastewater industries. He began his career with the City of Aurora, Colorado Utilities Department in 1980 and worked there until 1993. In pursuit of further academic excellence, he earned a BA in Industrial Design from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 1996.
Throughout his illustrious career, Randy has held many roles in engineering and manufacturing companies, including estimator, designer, project manager, purchasing agent, production supervisor, QA inspector, and even machinist. His versatility, coupled with his vast experience, has made him a valuable asset to every team he has been a part of.
Currently, Randy serves as the Senior Project Manager at WSI International, where he has been an integral member of the team since 2012. His exceptional project management skills, coupled with his extensive experience, have played a critical role in the company's success.
Outside of his professional life, Randy treasures spending quality time with his family. He lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with his wife of 33 years and 18-year-old daughter.

Marita Leon
Controller
During her 20-year career, Marita Leon has earned a reputation as a dynamic and solutions-focused Financial Professional with expertise in effectively managing the day to day accounting operations, while also identifying redundancies and streamlining processes to maximize operational success for leaders in the engineering industry. She is also respected as a motivational, hands-on leader who builds high-performing teams, developing their talent and guiding them to consistently achieve critical performance goals.
Marita joined the team at WSI International, LLC in 2007 and has spent her tenure generating comprehensive financial statements, and reports to support million-dollar project budgets. She has also successfully prepared and filed monthly sales taxes for the company’s multiple locations across the Unites States. Leveraging her Spanish speaking skills has also enabled Marita to manage the daily activities and bank transactions of accountants in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua, as well as accurately translate all purchase agreements.
Marita has also worked for Creative Surface Interiors, Inc, where she applied her industry expertise to processing payroll, maintaining personnel records, onboarding new hires, and completing AP/AR processes within time-sensitive deadlines. Prior to this, Marita was part of the team at Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association, as well as The George Washington University.
Marita holds commendable qualifications including a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University, courses in Administration and Organization from ESAN, Accounting and Project Management from AACC as well as English as a Foreign Language from The George Washington University.
